Peer review policy

Publis Editorial is committed to ensuring our published books' integrity, quality, and academic excellence through a double-blind peer review process. This methodology guarantees that authors and reviewers remain anonymous, fostering an impartial and objective evaluation of the submitted manuscripts.

  1. Review process

Submission of manuscripts:
The editorial team will initially assess all submitted manuscripts to ensure they align with the book's subject matter and Publis Editorial's editorial standards. Manuscripts that meet these requirements will be sent to expert reviewers in the respective fields for further evaluation.

Reviewer selection:
Reviewers are selected based on their expertise and experience in the relevant subject areas of the book, such as academic research, technical topics, and the specific field addressed by the manuscript. At least two qualified reviewers will assess each manuscript. They will use peer-review instruments provided by the editorial team to ensure a thorough and fair evaluation.

  1. Conflict of interest statement

Reviewers must declare any potential conflicts of interest that might affect their impartiality in reviewing the manuscript. This includes any financial, professional, or personal relationships that could introduce bias in the evaluation.
Reviewers must also avoid reviewing manuscripts when there is a conflict of interest, such as recent collaborations or affiliations with the authors’ institutions. The disclosure of any conflicts of interest is vital for maintaining transparency and impartiality in the peer review process.

  1. Evaluation criteria

Reviewers will evaluate the manuscript based on the following aspects:

  • Scientific quality: The depth and rigor of the content.
  • Originality: The novel contribution to the field.
  • Relevance: The manuscript's alignment with the book’s focus and its importance in the discipline.

Reviewers will also provide constructive feedback and recommendations for improving the content, clarity, and presentation of the manuscript.

  1. Editorial decision

After the review process, the editor will make a final decision on whether to accept, request revisions, or reject the manuscript, based on the feedback from the reviewers.
Authors will be informed of the decision, and they will receive the reviewers’ comments to help guide any necessary revisions.

  1. Revisions and author response

If revisions are requested, authors must carefully address the reviewers’ comments and submit a revised manuscript within the timeframe provided. Authors are required to include a response letter outlining the changes made in response to each comment.

  1. Publication

The final editing process will commence once the manuscript is accepted and all necessary revisions have been made. The manuscript will then be scheduled for publication as part of the next volume or issue of the book.

  1. Final decision on publication

The final decision regarding publication rests with the associate editor, who manages the submission. The editor will consider the manuscript’s quality, relevance, and originality, ensuring that only research of significant contribution to knowledge and scholarship is published.

This double-blind peer review process helps protect the anonymity of both authors and reviewers, ensuring a fair and thorough evaluation. By maintaining a rigorous and impartial review system, Publis Editorial ensures that only high-quality works that advance knowledge and contribute meaningfully to the field are published.
